For the love of teachers....

Teacher appreciation week (May 7-11) is quickly approaching and if you're like me, you will want to show some gratitude to those that care for your children when they are not with you.  I appreciate my children's teachers more than a small gift could show, but it's a start.

Through the years I have done all different kinds of things for teachers.  One of the biggest hits was from 2 years ago.  I started with an empty soup can and then just rubberbanded the pencils around the outside of the can and covered it with some pretty ribbons.  Instant vase!

Here are some really fun and creative ideas to reach out and say "Thank You" during their special week.

I love this idea for a fun keepsake for a special teacher.

Or one with pencils...

I adore this clock...so fun!

Or maybe a crayon wreath?   This would be cute with a little sign saying
"Mrs. So and So or Mr. So and So's Class"

Or maybe a clipboard..made with scrapbook paper and Mod Podge.

Or how about these fun "flowers" for the teacher?  Made from pencils...

What teacher wouldn't love something like this?  "Thanks a Latte" with a gift card!

Or maybe something sweet?  It's hard to see this one, but it's a jar of M&M's and a key...each color indicating a quality of the special teacher.   If you click on the link below the picture, you can get the printable for it.

This amazing handmade gift is made from 2 soda bottle bottoms that are hole punched and tied together with a ribbon.  SO creative.  You can fill them with anything under the sun that is red!

This cute play on words is one any woman could use.

Continuing with the play on words...these super fun and cheap gifts would be fun to give one a day for the week of Teacher appreciation.

Or maybe one of these creative ideas with classroom supplies?

And last, but not least, these handmade bookmarks are so sweet.  I have a thing for bookmarks I think!

Whether it's something fancy or a sweet bouquet of flowers from your backyard...just saying 'thank you' is the true gift during this special week dedicated to teachers.

Poshed Up
